My nephew Chris Phelan has come from Texas for a 2 week visit. He just flew in Sunday (and boy were his arms tired!) Here's what's been happening so far.

Just before he left home Chris received word from his father Tom that Pat was going to teach him how to cook. They lost no time getting started. Here he is Monday morning outfitted in a chef coat & hat cooking breakfast (his favorite french toast). |
| Once breakfast was finished and consumed it was time to start on supper. Here is Chris making homemade pasta for pasta con broccoli. |  |

While the pasta was drying Pat showed Chris how to make the white sauce. |
| Chris was ready with a suggestion for dessert: pecan pie. "No problemo", said Pat. And away they went. The pie turned out delicious! So was the french toast and the pasta con broccoli. Chris seems to be a natural. |  |

They had a couple of admiring little hopefuls throughout the process. |
