(Turn on your speakers!)

Already it's week 2 of my nephew Chris' visit with us. Here are some more highlights.

Chris is still enthusiastic about Pat's teaching him to cook. But he almost lost it when Pat had him de-vein a whole bunch of shrimp in preparation for making Jambalaya.
The dish turned out delicious! He and Pat served it with colorful slices of cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon. A very nice presentation.
Even Peter and his friend Kristin had to admit the dessert, pecan pie, was excellent.
After dinner Kristin played on the computer while Chris was nearly dozing. We were all stuffed!
Kitty can find herself a comfortable spot nearly anywhere.
The dogs decided to just hang it up for the day.
Next day, Chris was back at work preparing our next meal.
It turned out to be the best pizza I ever ate! Chris even made the crust starting with "high-gluten flour" (whatever that is!)
Chris managed to find one more piece of pecan pie that someone must have had hidden (or I would have eaten it sooner!).
While he was here Chris decided to make a clock out of wood and paint with Jude's help. The clock is in the shape of a chicken, inspired by the movie we saw Saturday: "Chicken Run".
Meanwhile, Pete's car died and was buried with honors. But it was soon forgotten when he picked up his new Chevy S10 pickup!

That's all Folks!
