Our backyard has been ablaze with Iris!

The salmon colored ones were huge. Aren't they gorgeous?

These yellow and rust colored combos were especially nice.

These Siberian iris made a pretty display. They were given to us by my friend Janis.

Aren't these flowers cool and unusual? The flower looks like an exotic bird to me.

These purple blooms were so dark they looked nearly black at times.

We have many different colors and kinds. Most came from Pat's friend Virginia who gave us some of her extra bulbs when she thinned her own.

These yellow blooms were very large and lovely.

Pat's friend Judy came by to have a look and brought something to show us. It was a little gourd made to look like a cat by painting and sticking on clay arms, legs, and tail. She bought it at a craft fair. Amazingly, it incorporates in one item two of Judy's main interests: cats and gourds.
