On Saturday, June 23, the Kunza families and the Kientzy families gathered for Rudy Kunza's 80th birthday. Besides family members there were plenty of neighbors and friends. Rudy's children organized the party and invited the guests. It was a surprise--we hope. Rudy received some gifts and many cards. We hope that he has the leisure time to read our messages to him. |

Here is a good photo of Rudy as he went around greeting and thanking each guest. I am sure that I speak for all of the cousins in saying that we were honored to have participated in his birthday celebration. It is so good to see all of our cousins, aunts and uncles every year. We like to visit with the aunts and uncles that we have known through so many years and visited with when we were all kids. Now that we have families of our own it is good to see all of our generation's children growing up and attending family picnics. Thank you to the Kunza family for taking the time and trouble to organize such a large celebration. The memory book of photos was terrific! The following photos show some few scenes of the celebration, and gives Rudy another reason to hook up his web-tv and see what the internet is all about. |
