Jude's Page
(Turn on your speakers!)
Here is a comglomeration of pictures, some recent and
some from the past,
that have yet to be seen on Jude's Page.
Just this month Pat wanted to call Chemlawn with our lawn emergency. "The weeds are out of control! ", Pat screams hysterically. Says Jude, "Drop that phone! I can take care of it and save us a bundle!" So the lawn becomes Jude's special project. We'll see what happens. |
On August 18th, the day before Pat's
birthday, she held a party at her favorite restaurant, where the margaritas
are the best in St. Louis. Many friends gathered for the occassion.
One came from as far away as Indiana! A great time was had by all. Here is Peter on his way to work at Buckeye. "I was so proud of my son!", cried a distressed Pat after he quit this job. But she can't say anything to him about it, says Peter, because since he pays rent he's only a boarder. Pat now calls him, "the boarder formerly known as my son." |
In mid-July Ellen, Dorf and Jude met in Hermann to spend the day visiting wineries. The weather was sweltering but we didn't notice (too much). This picture was taken at the most scenic winery of all. I forgot the name of it. |
This June Tom, Mary, and Chris came all the way from Texas to visit for a long weekend. While here, they wanted to shop some of our fine thrift stores. As it turned out, Tom made quite a haul including this dandy outfit! |
Squeeler seems to experience extreme happiness rolling around in the grass on something stinky. Jude thought she would give it a try minus the stinky thing. It felt ok. Apparently the stinky thing is an important part of the total experience. |
Last fall Pat's friend Judy went away for a long weekend and left us with Frankie. Frankie started his visit by peeing on the corner of the coffee table. This greatly interested Lucy and Temme. After that Frankie was a sweetheart, wanting constant attention, creating much jealousy amongst the residents, and greatly missing his momma! Last summer we had visitors, Chris and Erin. Here Chris displays the "Chicken Run" cutout that he later made into a clock. They both seemed to have a great time, sometimes staying up talking all night long. |
