While we were waiting for Tom and Chris to arrive from Borger, Texas, Larry stopped by with two walking sticks that Jude photographed. The one below is named "Rattler." Very nice! |

The second stick, a work in progress, is for Larry's good friend. It features his friend's dog, a Great Dane, at the top and dog bones scattered around the bottom. So far so good! |

| Tom and Chris arrived on schedule at 9pm. We readied the house and the food for our Christmas Eve gala. But, alas, it was not meant to be. A heavy snow came in. We stuffed ourselves with food and drink for 20 rather than 4. Here Pat opens gifts from Paul, the man she loves. We all opened the gifts from each other. |

| Christmas morning brought another round of gift opening by Chris. Yes, Chris, there is a Santa Claus! |

| Tortuous medieval creatures were Santa's treat this year. |

Temme and Lucy enjoyed the company. They even participated in the makeup party held on the Saturday after Christmas. |

All available guests showed up on Saturday. The homemade gifts were marvels of craftsmanship and artistry! All went home happy. |
